Palm Springs update

Chandra is enjoying the sun in Palm Springs! It's been so nice here. Today we went on a long walk, then she got to go swimming and then another walk to let her coat dry out. She loves laying in the sun, something she hasn't been able to do in Sacramento. Tomorrow we'll be driving home after dinner, it's a long trip..7 hours! She's such a great road trip dog, she just sleeps the entire time.

Chandra's coming home for the Holiday's :)

Chandra is getting a ride home tomorrow just in time for our Thanksgiving break trip to Palm Springs! I'm excited to have her back..it's been a long time without her around. She had her dates with Lawrence and it sounds like everything went well. Her ultrasound is on December 18th, I haven't heard for sure, but I'm guessing that means she'll be due around January 20th. I'll send an update from Palm Springs tomorrow night with pictures

grandpups

I'm watching Akeelah for a few days and it's so much fun having grandpups over! Akeelah reminds me so much of Chandra in looks and actions. She's such a good girl! We're at school now, lucky girl gets to sleep..I wish I could ;)

Chandra is being bred to Lawrence II (Baumann x Keena) a black lab for her 5th and final litter!!

Missing Chandra

I'm sitting at home watching the election coverage and studying for a midterm tomorrow. It's sad without Chandra here with me, I just went to the kitchen to get water and whenever our ice machine goes off Chandra comes running for a treat! I missed her being there, but I know she'll be back home soon ready to take on her job for the last time!!

Litter # 5 Coming Soon!!!

Chandra is being bred for her 5th and final litter! Puppies should be born around the middle of January and going out to puppy raisers around the middle of March. I haven't heard yet who Chandra will be bred to, but I'll be sure to update the blog when I find out!

In other news Omeeka from Chandra's first litter was confirmed pregnant yesterday with at least 5 puppies! Puppies are due on December 5th and they are Golden Retrievers, the dad is Alijah (Kittredge x Slyvi).

Happy Halloween

Chandra's puppy Asjha dressed up for Halloween as her namesake, Asjha Jones from the Connecticut Sun! She also enjoyed a Frosty Paw treat, it's ice cream for dogs!
